Who Can Join the CAC?

• Active membership
  Any person registered by the ASCP as a cytotechnologist, and/or licensed by the State of California. Annual dues are $35.00.
• Associate membership
  Any person not eligible for Active Membership. Included are persons who qualify for active membership, but who are not currently employed in the field of cytotechnology, or those students who have finished their training and are attempting the ASCP registry exam. Dues are $35.00
• Student Membership
  Any person enrolled in an CAAHEP approved School of Cytotechnology. Students pay a reduced rate of $15.00 and must include a letter from their instructor confirming enrollment and graduation date.
